• Is it difficult to drive a motor home?
  A motor home is not difficult to drive, nor does it require a special license to operate. All of our vehicles are equipped with power steering, remote mirrors, and other driver conveniences to make it easy for you to drive the motor home.
  
  
• How much does it cost to rent a motor home?
  The nightly rate will depend upon the time of year you are traveling and the number of nights you wish to rent. Other factors such as mileage, optional rental equipment such as kitchen kits, barbeques, bike racks, etc., will affect the overall price. • Are pets allowed to travel in a rental motor home?
  We will allow pets with an additional cleaning deposit.
  
  
• Is smoking allowed in rental motor homes?
  We do not allow smoking in any of our vehicles.
  
  
• How many people can travel in a motor home?
  The number of people that can travel safely in a motor home will depend on the number of seat belts supplied by the manufacturer. a 24 and 29 foot Class C motor home can accommodate 6 passengers, and a 31 foot Class C motor home can accommodate 7 passengers. Our Class A motor homes can accommodate 6-8 passengers, depending on the model.
  
  
• Where can I travel in a motor home?
  There is no limit to where you can travel in a motor home from United RV Rentals. Our affiliate RV resorts, such as K/M Resorts (www.kmresorts.com), have terrific camping facilities, and the open road can take you to any number of destinations for fun, such as the wine country, mountains, beaches, etc.
  
  
• Is travel to Canada or Mexico allowed?
  We permit RV rental guests to travel into Canada; however, we do not allow travel into Mexico.
  
  
• How old do you have to be in order to rent a motor home from United RV Rentals?
  You must be 25 years of age with a valid driver's license.
  
  
• Can you assist me with campground reservations?

• What type of insurance is required to rent a motor home?
  You may either provide insurance through your own auto policy or purchase our insurance for $20 per day. Additional insurance, such as SLI, is also available for an additional daily fee.
  
  
• What can I expect in fuel efficiency?
  Keep in mind that a motor home is much heavier than a passenger vehicle; mileage is typically 8-10 miles per gallon.
